Roger
Western, G3SXW - Team Co-leader. Roger was licensed in 1964. He is a
member of both the DX and Contest CQ Halls of Fame. Roger is also a CQWW
Committee Advisor. His main interests are DXpeditioning where he has
operated from 68 countries to date. His role on the VooDoo team is
logistics and diplomacy. |

Mike
Fulcher, KC7V - Team Co-Leader. Founding member of the VooDoo Contest
Group. Licensed in 1972, Mike has visited 56 DXCC entities and has
operated from 35 entities and 21 zones. His interests include DXing,
contesting and operating EME. Mike is a member and twice past-President of
the Central AZ DX Association (CADXA) and is a member of FOC. His primary
role with the VooDoo team is antenna building and erection. |

Fred
Handscombe, G4BWP - Fred, born in
1957, was first licensed 1973. He joined VooDudes in 1998. His main skills
are: shouting loudly during antenna work, tying ropes, lifting heavy
things, organizing lunch, and maintaining a sense of humor at all times.
His other skills include: fixing amplifiers, running rate, and speaking
French. |

Vince
Thompson, K5VT - Vince is a core member of the VooDoo Contest Group. He
has traveled extensively through Africa (as well as the rest of the world)
and has operated from many African nations while practicing in-country as
a surgeon for the World Health Organization. He has been the primary CW
operator at many DXpeditions to new DXCC entities, such as Ducie Island,
VP6DI ,in 2002. His primary role on the VooDoo team is tactics and
coaching. |

John
Warburton, G4IRN - John was
licensed in 1979 at age 15. His interests are HF DXing, DXpeditioning, and
contesting, mainly on CW. John is a regular member of the RSGB's contest
team GB7HQ during the annual HF Championships. Having done a number of solo DXpeditions over
the past few years, John joined the VooDoo Contest Group in 2005 at TZ5A.
His primary role on the team is to manage the computers, logging software
and the network. |

Don
Field, G3XTT - Don gained his UK
amateur radio licence in 1968, and also holds the US callsign NK1G. Over
the years he has operated from a number of DXCC entities including: D6 G
GJ GM GU GW HB HB0 HC8 KL7 LX TF V5 VP9 W XT ZS ZS9 4U1ITU 3B7 3B9 5U 9G 9M6 and 9M0.
These included participation in major DXpeditions ZS9Z, V51Z, 3B7C, 3B9C, 9M0C and D68C
plus small, holiday operations and a number of single- and multi-op
contest expeditions. Previous Voodoo contest operations include 9G5AA,
XT2DX and 5U5Z. Member of RSGB, ARRL, Chiltern DX Club, Reading &
District Amateur Radio Club. HF columnist for RadCom (RSGB magazine).

Robbie
Ferguson, GM3YTS - Rob was
licensed in 1969. His main interests are HF, CW, DX and Contest. His
current VooDoo role is to be a Dogsbody and a general nuisance. |

Ned
Stearns, AA7A - Ned was licensed in
1963. He is the former ARRL Vice Director for the Southwestern Division
and the former Chairman of the ARRL Contest Advisory
Committee. Ned is a member and twice past-President of the CADXA. This will be his
fourth venture with the VooDoo Contest Group to
West Africa and is still the rookie. His role on the VooDoo team is station design and
integration. In past trips to West Africa, he and Mike, KC7V, operated a 2m EME station, signing
TZ6NS and 3X5A, providing some rare DX for all of the deserving in the VHF community. |
